New Year's Resolutions
1) Blog more so I don't have to do one big catch-up post of all the pictures and events I never got around to blogging about but can't give up on because it's the only way I can feel less guilty about not scrapbooking my children's lives.
2) Stop feeling guilty about not blogging enough.
See how I have already defeated myself?

Dylan started soccer this past fall. Very quickly we realized
1) Our daughter has inherited the "I could care less about sports and don't really have a competitive bone in my body " gene from her mother. Our first clue was that all she cared about was the little goody bag at the end of each game.
2) 4 Years old is too young to start a sport and we got sucked into the "Everyone else is doing it and I don't want my kid to fall behind " trap.
3) We, and by WE I mean Kelly, is not looking forward to every Saturday being filled with sporting events, and would like to put it off as long as possible.
but
she sure looked cute.
First day of preschool. Yes, from September. Better late than never.
Trip to St. George with the Faust Family. Family outing to the Sand Dunes.
My parents and all the grandkids.
Halloween Highlights
1) Dylan's Alice in Wonderland costume
2) Our Toy Story themed Halloween. My friend Tisha and her mom's made Mr. and Mrs. Potato costumes. Tisha's son Logan was Woody, and Rogan was Buzz. Yes Logan and Rogan. Unfortunately Halloween was so chaotic that our pictures were lame.
After countless morning power struggles over the doing of the hair, I surrendered and we cut Dylan's hair. Love it. So does she. And we no longer have power struggles, at least not over her hair.

Dylan made a "dress" out of old Christmas ribbon. Project Runway here we come!
And now, for my 3 favorite photos of 2011.
Drumroll please...
Could these two be any cuter? This happened totally naturally, no posing.
